Carpathian Crosses for Red Orchestra
Website has word on the release of a beta version of the
Carpathian Crosses modification
for the World War II shooter. Word is: "This mod brings the next new nationality
to the game - the Romanians, who provided the single largest contingent of Axis
troops on the Eastern Front, after the Germans themselves. The player will get
to experience a completely unique setting, that has never been done before! On
top of that, they are also adding the famous Russian Black Sea Naval Infantry -
the 'Black Death'. The mod features new maps, new models, new vehicles and
weapons including the first playable mortars."
