announces that the Sword of the Stars: Collector's Edition is gold, and this
spiffy variant on Kerberos Productions' 4X space strategy game will be available
for purchase next month. The package will include bonus content along with
Sword of the Stars and its Born of Blood expansion, mentioning the
game will be updated to version 1.5.2, describing what this yet-to-be-released
patch will entail: "standalone server capabilities and creating custom maps."

announced that the Collector’s Edition of their critically acclaimed 4X space
strategy game Sword of the Stars has gone gold. Sword of the Stars: Collector’s
Edition, packed with exclusive bonus materials and a 150+ page paperback novel,
will begin hitting store shelves across the U.S. and Canada in May 2008.
Lighthouse Interactive also revealed the official box shots today.
