Stardock to Publish Demigod on an Impulse - Beta in Summer
Reveals Demigod Exclusive to Impulse on Wired.com has word that Stardock and
Gas Powered Games have entered a deal to distribute Demigod exclusively
through Stardock's upcoming Impulse content delivery system. Impulse is set to
launch on April 14, and although a release date is not yet set for Demigod, they
say a public beta of GPG's upcoming action game will launch this summer. Word is
Demigod will therefore carry Stardock's preferred method of DRM enforcement
(which is none) and that Impulse will not require an active internet connection
to play your games (saying this is in contrast to Steam, which is not
