The first two builds are based off of the Yoyo's speedbreaks: DEX levels where your attack speed rises. The third one is designed around the Historic Yoyo. The H-Yoyo ads 7 DEX, which will allow you to reach 90 DEX, a critbreak (a DEX level where your critical rate rises) with that build. You don't have to follow these builds to the letter; for example, I use 70 DEX. If you have an FS/RM constantly by your side, you won't need nearly that much STA. There are a few other builds out there, but you won't have to worry about them when you're an Acrobat.
Confused about how to add points to your build? There's no right or wrong way...starting out as mostly DEX or mostly STR doesn't matter in the end. I would not suggest going pure either of them though. Why? Because Yoyos need STR to be effective, but you'll miss a lot if you don't have a bit of DEX.
If you want to follow a pattern, here's how I did it:
1) Start out by adding points to DEX so it's at 27 (the first speedbreak- you'll attack very slowly if you don't have at least this much DEX!)
2) Split points between STR and STA
3) Split your points between STR and STA until both are 40 (if you're going for less STA, add until STA is 30 and STR is 40).
4) Add points to DEX until it's at 60.
5a) if you're going for the 60 DEX build, only add STR from here on out.
5b) If you're going for the 73/92 DEX builds, add DEX until you're have all the DEX you want/need. Then add STR and only STR.
Ok! First and most importantly in this part, while you're still a Vagrant be sure you get the following:
10 Twinkle Stones (from Aibatts)
5 Peakyrinds (from Peakyturtles)
1 Slain (from Lawolves)It's better if you get them while you're still leveling up because it saves time and money. However, if you already have a high leveled character in the same cluster, money is not an issue.
Once you're level 15, go to the Magic Shop and buy 3 Blinkwings to Darkon. Use one of them and you'll find yourself in a weird place with lots of water and pipes. Not far from where you'll appear is the guy who'll turn you into an Acrobat. Talk to him, and he'll order you to kill 40 Small Aibatts. He'll also be kind enough to warp you right back to Flaris, and you have seven minutes to fulfill his request. Once you're done, use your other Darkon Blinkwing and talk to him again.
Now tells you that you have to give someone the aforementioned Twinkle Stones, Peakyrinds, and Slain. Go towards the center square of Darkon's city, and near the quest lady of the area you'll see the person who requires your stuff. He'll be quite happy to have it and will tell you all about the weapons.
He'll also tell you to talk to a Dwarphet, but you must find a book of theirs first: the Book of Technique. It doesn't matter which Book of Technique you give him. The one I recommend you get is on a ledge by the river. Go to Lawolves, look out over the river, and you should see the ledge I mean. Hop down into the water, and then charge and jump up the hill to get on the ledge. Grab the book, hop back down, and repeat the same process on the side you came from. Be sure you're facing the hill dead-on while you do this, or it won't work. The Dwarphets are a bit north of the Doridomas...they're not hard to find at all.
The Dwarphet, after briefly explaining the skills of an Acrobat, will tell you to go back to Darkon and talk to someone to finish your quest. But there's a catch: first you must kill the Shuraiture, a weird, plant-like monster just outside Darkon (note to experienced players: it looks like a Boo). Warp back to Darkon, and carefully, I repeat, CAREFULLY walk out the East gate and head a bit south. You'll see the Shuraiture down there. kill it (it's not too hard), and head back into town and find the last person you have to talk to. She'll thank you for ridding them of that beast, and change your job. Congrats, you're an Acrobat!
