Release Date Trailer on IGN offers that trailer and a US release date of
August 31, 2008 for Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. This is shockingly
close to the August 25, 2008 date that appeared on e-tailer listings
(story) that presaged the last change to the game's release
window (story). As for the trailer, according to IGN it proves
that life is like a box of chocolates booby-trapped with C4: "Let's just say
that you absolutely have to watch the trailer below to see exactly what sort of
revenge story this is. Imagine a pissed off Forrest Gump and you might have some
sort of an idea of what we're talking about."
