FlyFF Assist Job Change Guide
I'm sure you're eager to get started.
I am assuming you have already decided to become an Assist.
If you read some outdated information, or are an old returning player, your first instinct may be to go to Juria in Flaris (the bank). However, as you will see, she is no longer in charge of job changes.

If you're anything like me, you're too overcome with disbelief that they could replace someone as cute as Juria to notice that this Leily person is right next to Juria, and not in east Flaris like she says. I wandered around for quite a while...perhaps Juria is bitter at being replaced.
So, talk to this newby Leily and navigate your way through the choices until you get to Assist job change. She tells you to talk to Elic the drillmaster in East Flaris.

At least this newby points us in the right direction. Ellic is in East Flaris as she says.

Talk to the drunkard and he gives you a test. You have 10 minutes to kill 10 Small Mushpangs and 10 Small Burudengs.

You probably know where to find them, but in case you forgot, here is a map:

Remember, kill smalls, not normals or captains. As you kill them, the game will keep track and show your progress on the screen. It will also count down the minutes.

You can also check the Quest Log (press Q) under Job Transfer(1 st).
When you're done with the slaughter, go back Elic. He congratulates you on a job well done and gives you 1,500 penya, to which you say woo~. He gives you your next instructions: gather materials for weapons. He tells you to get 10 Forforms
from Mushpangs, 5 Peakyrinds
from Peakyturtles, and 1 Poporam
from Doridomas and bring them to the Assist Master in North Flaris.
First, check your inventory to see if you picked up any of those drops while you were leveling. To make it easier, check the Quest Log to see a check list of what you need.

If you have everything you need (doubt it), turn them in and skip down. Else, read on.
Here is the map of mobs you need to kill to get those drops:

You are level 15. Mushpangs are level 3-4. Because of that large level gap, it will be hard for you to get them to drop Forforms. You could look in player shops, but they tend to be overpriced.
So that means you'll likely go on a killing spree, killing tons of Mushpangs until you get all 10 Forforms. You kill them pretty fast, and they don't hit you for squat, so at least you have that going for you. Since you're on a quest for them, not only will they drop on the ground, but they may also appear in your inventory, effectively doubling your chances of getting them. I got them all in maybe 30 minutes.
Peakyrinds are a lot easier to get, since the level gap is smaller (Peakyturtles are level 8-9), and you only need 5 of them. You need just one Poporam. Go kill a few Doridomas and you'll get one.
Alright, now you got them all. Where do you take them? Elic said to take them to some Assist Master in North Flaris. Here he is!

Maki'll go on about how Assists need to master two kinds of arms: "Nuckle Hammer" and Stick. Whatever, geezer.

Anyway, he'll give you your reward (another 1,500 penya) and tells you what to do next. We're almost done! He wants you to talk to a High-Dwarpet named Goripeg and give him a Book of Technique
.
He tells you the book is in the Field of Bubble, but doesn't say where this dwarpet is. Oh well, let's go get the book. Press M and you can see where Field (Plain) of Bubble is.

Both maps mark the location of it. It is a book lying on the ground. Now where is that dwarpet? When in doubt, check your Quest Log and your map. Billeting Place by Hi-Dwarpet sounds good, eh?

Goripeg thanks you for the book and starts jibba jabba-ing about the buff Haste. Then he gives you another 1,500 penya and a Label of Technique.

He then tells you to go talk to the Assist Instructor, who is next to the Assist Drillmaster Ellic. But first, you must save the Demians in Madren Town from the mean Chaner.

I know he says Masquerpet, but you actually have to kill a Chaner. Check your Quest Log if you don't believe me. Let's go to Madren Town.

The mark is where Chaner spawns. It is to the left after you cross the bridge. It may take a few minutes for it to spawn, and there may be other job changers there waiting for it. It's level 15, so no worries.
After you kill it, go to Assist Instuctor Nicole Kidmen and turn in the Label of Technique. She is next to Elic.

Let's see what she has to say.
