Asheron's Call interview on Massive Gamer Magazine talks with David Javier,
producer on the old-school MMORPG. They discuss the game's recent 100th(!)
update, which they say is part of an effort to attract a new audience: "I think
the upcoming year will see more of a focus on the new player experience, not
just returning players, but players who haven’t played before,” going on to say
"I think we can position ourselves advantageously for players that don’t have
high end system." Javier says: "Admittedly its tough attracting new MMO players
and players are used to the current crop of games into a 10 year old game," but
he goes on to state: "We have seen some positive uptick in our numbers since the
100th update."
