AoC & AO Vulnerabilities Fixed
Anarchy Online on the Independent Security Evaluators Website has details on
exploits they discovered in both Anarchy Online and Age of Conan,
one a directory traversal vulnerability and the other a buffer overflow (winning
a prize for the honor of being the one-billionth buffer overflow discovered this
year). The vulnerabilities to Funcom's MMOGs sound quite serious, as they could
allow the takeover of a user's computer. Word is both issues have been addressed
in Anarchy Online and the more severe directory transversal problem has been
fixed in AoC. Thanks Ant and
