Lucky Episode 13 of the Jace Hall Show
on Crackle (NSFW) is the season one finale of this online series featuring
TEH KING. This week Jace visits Gearbox Software to talk with Randy Pitchford
and check out what they are up to. Along the way he gets to fire Gearbox's
actual pulse rifle, a real firearm modeled after the Marine weapon in Aliens. He
then gets one of his signature second-hand demonstrations with a ShakyCam look
at Borderlands before stealing a surreptitious peek at Aliens:
Colonial Marines. After his Aliens shenanigans ostensibly get him kicked out
of Gearbox, Jace visits id Software, talking with Todd Hollenshead about id's
legacy and getting a martial arts demonstration from John Carmack where Jace
does the darndest

Richard Belzer impression. His efforts at scoring exclusive game footage
falls short at id, though, as he gets to see the DOOM 4 team taking a
break, and watches the Rage trailer that we've all seen already. They
also offer a couple of humorous "real-life" demos, with the DOOM 4 bit involved
taping a flashlight to a rifle (with the words "scoop" flashing on the screen),
suggesting that the contrivance of the two-handed DOOM 3 flashlight may
be eliminated.
