Crytek Acquires Black Sea Studios
Crytek announces the acquisition of Black Sea Studios (Knights of Honor,
Worldshift), saying the Bulgarian developer will now be known as Crytek
Black Sea (thanks Gamer's Hell). Here's the deal: Crytek GmbH today announced
that it has acquired Bulgaria-based Black Sea Studios Ltd. Under the terms of
the acquisition, Black Sea Studios will become Crytek Black Sea, a wholly owned
studio. Black Sea Studios development team will remain in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Financial terms were not disclosed.

continue our strategic growth and expansion. Black Sea Studios already has a
very qualified and experienced development team in place and will be continually
expanded in capacity to join our tradition of producing highly innovative and
creative games which Crytek is known for.", said Avni Yerli, Managing Director
of Crytek
